Optimal for cameras or spotting scopes under 4 kg; Heavier setups may cause unstable panning or tilt rebound. 
 
 
 
The 2-stage counterbalancer may not show a noticeable difference, limiting effectiveness on heavier equipment. 
 
 
 
The leveling ball makes setup easier, but may require manual readjustment on very uneven ground, especially when using a spotting scope.
