  The Canon LP-E6P is a high-performance lithium-ion battery designed for the latest Canon cameras, particularly the EOS R5 Mark II, to ensure maximum performance in photo and video recording. With a capacity of 2130 mAh and 7.2 V, it offers improved endurance over its predecessors and supports demanding functions such as high-speed continuous shooting and 8K video. Weighing just 80 g, it remains compact and ideal for mobile use. The battery can be quickly charged in-camera via USB-C or with compatible chargers such as the Canon LC-E6 or PD-E2.
 
 

  Performance with the EOS R5 Mark II: The LP-E6P is critical to the full performance of the EOS R5 Mark II, especially in H+ (High-Speed ​​Continuous Shooting Plus) mode, where it enables up to 30 fps (electronic shutter, 45 megapixel RAW/JPEG) or 12 fps (mechanical shutter). It also supports pre-continuous shooting, 4K 120p, 8K 60p RAW video, and continuous power for intensive tasks, without the limitations of older batteries (LP-E6NH/LP-E6N). When used with the BG-R20 battery grip, two LP-E6P batteries can double the runtime—ideal for long shoots such as wildlife, sports, or events.
 
 

  Compatibility: Designed for the Canon EOS R5 Mark II, EOS R5, EOS R6 Mark II, EOS R6, EOS R7, EOS R10, EOS R3, EOS R8, EOS R50, and EOS R100. The LP-E6P is required for full R5 Mark II functionality (e.g., H+ mode, 8K video). Older models can use it, but not all features will be unlocked.
