The Minox 35 GT is the queen of pocket compact cameras of the 80s – weighing only 155 g, measuring 100 × 61 × 35 mm and featuring a legendary Minotar 35 mm f/2.8 lens (4 elements in 3 groups) that delivers sharpness and depth of field that would make many expensive prime lenses envious. Fully mechanical with electronic automatic exposure (Program AE), aperture f/2.8 to f/16 and shutter speeds from 1/500 to approximately 30 seconds, plus zone focus (0.7 m – ∞) – perfect for street photography in St. Moritz, hiking snapshots on Corviglia, or discreet reportage in Sils. No built-in flash (this is intentional with the GT – for maximum compactness and discretion), but the extremely fast f/2.8 lens makes it a low-light performer in twilight or indoors. This particular example, in condition B (normal signs of wear), has a small, cosmetic crack in the lens barrel – absolutely no functional impairment; optically and mechanically, it's in top condition. We, of course, tested it with a roll of film: shutter, exposure, film advance, and focus all function flawlessly. Comes with original box, instruction manual, and leather case – plus our 30-day Rutz used camera warranty against defects affecting functionality.
