Your legendary spy classic for discreet Engadine adventures and retro fun
The Minox B is the absolute cult classic among subminiature cameras – as small as a lighter (approx. 97 x 27 x 15 mm, only 130 g), it fits perfectly in any trouser pocket and was the tool of choice for spies, journalists and street photographers worldwide for decades. Produced from 1958 to 1972, with its legendary Complan 15mm f/3.5 lens (equivalent to approximately 50mm in 35mm format) and 8x11mm negatives on special 9.2mm film, it delivers incredible depth of detail for such tiny images – perfect for spontaneous snapshots in St. Moritz, candid portraits in Sils, or simply as a cool retro novelty. The mechanical shutter (1/2 to 1/1000 sec. + B/T), the parallax-corrected viewfinder, and the built-in filters (green + ND) make it a pure mechanical marvel – no batteries required! The coupled selenium light meter is a nice extra, but in this particular example (as with almost all vintage Minox B cameras), it's inaccurate due to age – typical for degraded selenium cells after 60+ years. We therefore recommend shooting with an external light meter, the Sunny 16 rule, or simply from the hip – that's what makes it so charming! Fully functional in all mechanical parts (shutter, film advance, focus), condition B (normal signs of wear, fully ready for use) with original box, case, and strap – plus our 30-day Rutz used camera guarantee against defects affecting functionality. At Optik Foto Rutz, we test every analog camera with test film so you can experience the magic of analog photography with confidence!

Special Features:
Spy Legend: The Minox B was the cult object of the Cold War era – pure James Bond vibes, super discreet for street photography in Zuoz or hidden shots in the Alps.
Tiny Masterpieces: 8x11 mm negatives with enormous sharpness – have them enlarged or scanned by us for impressive prints.
Fully Mechanical: No batteries required, virtually indestructible – only the selenium meter ages (as with almost all vintage models), so: use a Sunny 16 or app and have fun!
Retro charm: Built-in film advance when opening/closing, measuring chain for close-up range (20–60 cm) – pure analog thrill.
Used highlight: Condition B = normal signs of wear (minor wear), mechanics in top condition, we tested with test film – works perfectly (except for the known meter issue).
SEO tip: Used Minox B for subminiature enthusiasts – check us out for Minox film, developing, or suitable magnifying glasses/scanners!
